These better quality extension cables feature more precisely designed connectors and heavier grade wiring when compared with our basic D15 option.
Atari 5200 notes: While the plug heads are a different style than the original locking connector, these cables work just fine with the 5200. The female console end will fully seat into the 5200 with just the right amount of tension to hold the cable securely in place. The joystick male connector does not have cutouts for the locking tables, but the plastic is flexible enough to hold the joystick plug in position and proivde a secure connection.
