Shipping Policies:

At Console5, we're well aware of the special shipping requirements of vintage (and current) technology.  All shipments are made using appropriate boxes, padding, and filler materials.

 

Delivery issues / Tracking issues:

Has my package shipped yet?

Most orders ship within 24 hours.  Exceptions include orders with items placed on backorder, or during vacation / holiday times.  Vacation and holidays will ususally have estimated shipment dates noted on the website and on in the sales email.

PLEASE CHECK YOUR SPAM FOLDER for tracking information.  Gmail tends to send these to spam.

My order is marked "Delivered" but isn't in my mailbox

This is a rare situation but does happen.  The best option is to immediately call your local Post Office and explain the situation.  Items marked delivered are typically stored with GPS coordinates of the delivery location.

Because of the need for the USPS to communicate directly with you, we cannot faciliate this process.  The USPS might need information about your address, mail box info, call back numbers, or other details regarding your physical location.

As an alternative, the USPS has an online form for missing mail. In our experience a telephone call is far more effective at resolving delivery issues.

I made a domestic purchase using an option that indicated "No Tracking". Can you send tracking?

We do not have any additional tracking information beyond a postal receipt number

For International "no tracking" options, you may notice that there is some tracking within the US.  Once it has left the US that number is no longer valid and the package will appear "stuck", but it is still progressing through the mail system.

It's been 4 weeks but I still don't have my domestic untracked first-class order hasn't arrived

Payment:

Paypal is accepted from countries that offer seller protection and have a positive postal reputation.  We do not accept Paypal from countries where seller protection does not apply or where we have had past difficulties in having packages delivered.

 

Customs:

Shipments paid via Paypal will be sent insured, with prices marked appropriately on customs forms.  This is for our protection as the insurance value must match the declared value.

 

Shipping Time:

Once it leaves our hands, the amount of time it takes to arrive to the customer can vary greatly, depending on the country, method of shipment, customs inspections, etc.
