This is a landing page for info and support on the McWill LCD upgrade for Atari Lynx and Game Gear

This modification replaces the original passive LCD with a modern, much clearer active LCD. The results are nothing short of impressive. An optional VGA connector is included which will allow you to connect an external display.

Installation requires experience and patience. Please review the guides before purchase to ensure that you're up to the task!

IMPORTANT NOTE for Game Gear / Lynx: Be sure to perform the 5v / Vcc test as described in the install PDFs before connecting, so that a failed voltage regulation circuit does not damage your new LCD module!

Installation Guides

Installation Note: Because all VA1 Game Gears are prone to capacitor leakage / PCB damage, we advise you to replace the system capacitors and perform a burn-in test with the stock LCD before installing a McWill kit.
